About The Author

Perry Robinson

Perry Robinson resides in the Pacific Northwest, a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and lifelong traveler through some of life’s rougher roads. These days, he shares his world with two dogs, a bicycle, a camera, and a lifetime of stories.

Perry wrote much of this manuscript in 2026 while in federal custody with the Bureau of Prisons. With little more than time, memory, and a need to put his thoughts on paper, he turned an unlikely place into a writer’s workshop. The result is a story shaped by experience rather than theory—by mistakes and consequences.

Perry has spent much of his life believing that people are more than the worst thing they have ever done. He was a founder and proud member of the Inside Circle at Folsom Prison and later became involved with the Boys to Men Mentoring Network in San Diego, experiences that deepened his belief in accountability, brotherhood, and the power of honest conversation.

When he’s not writing, Perry rides his bicycle through the scenic Pacific Northwest. He writes short stories and essays, follows and analyzes the financial markets, and remains endlessly curious about the world around him.

But his proudest titles aren’t author, photographer, cyclist, or market watcher. They’re Dad, Grandpa, and Great-Grandpa.

Perry’s life hasn’t followed a straight line. It has taken some hard turns, crossed some rough terrain, and left its share of scars. He writes from that road—not as someone who has figured everything out, but as someone who has lived enough to know that every story has another chapter.
